In any case a place that the tourists want to meet, but something local will still enjoy. they do the breakfast right and sell not only because of the name. I had the lobster and the geese, happy surprised it with a piece of breakfast brot and obst. lobster and griss were a good drug. very different to the breakfast, but also has a perfect place in the breakfast. grits were as perfect as only florida could do. the brot was amazing (which it is local;) very beautiful finish. sliced obst was great, a beautiful small amount to supplement the meal and not the stereotype over-killer bowl of pieces.
One of the most interesting places where relaxed atmosphere, the most knowledgeable elegant service and amazing aromes are combined. it is not touristic, not only native, but recommended for all who visit or live in key west. also dog-friendly can not wait to get back for more this true hospitable.
We had breakfast and while the wait for a table in this busy restaurant was long, once seated the staff and the food made up for the wait. The shrimp omelette was delicious.
Went for breakfast and was not disappointed. The wait was long but definitely worth it. The breakfast specials were outstanding.
With a motto of ;You Don 't have to Die to Get There ; emblazoned on coffee cups and whatnot in its gift shop next door, Blue Heaven at the corner of Petronia Thomas streets creates its heavenly culinary magic within ramshackle blue painted quarters reportedly once operating as a bordello. These days, extraordinary tricks are turned in the kitchen for memorable breakfasts, lunches, and dinners, while chickens scratch around in the dirt outside and in the lushly landscaped courtyard. Omelets are tasty here, especially an off the menu special with Vermont white cheese, avocado, and fresh tomato, topped with black bean salsa. Served alongside are slices of cantaloupe, honeydew, fresh pineapple, and strawberry, plus a thick slice of fresh baked banana bread. Loaves can be ordered for take out with 24 hours notice. If only we 'd known.
