I love Almost everything, except the ropes to pull you up the hill on the only two hills I could do. You need to grasp in to get pulled up and I seen too many people struggling. The rest have a seat lift or conveying device. I for one, gave up the ropes.. the snacks are decent priced and tall beers are only $4. Fire place, service, gear to rent, and everything is on point. I'll be back and get my lessons in snowboard... View all feedback.
What Jim F doesn't like about Sunburst Ski Area:
Not as family friendly as it was last year. Sunburst did away with kid 's pricing (was around $25 for 10 and under kids last year before applying the buddy pass discount, and yesterday it was $49, same as adults). Also significantly less family friendly to season ticket holders, they did away with the 50% off buddy pass and it is now only 20% off. Neither of these price changes were apparent from their website when I... View all feedback.

I'll be back and get my lessons in snowboarding too : Self serve in boots for renting- helmets get fitted, and snowboard size picked for you. No need to think, they got you!
My son and I ran up here for some last minute evening/night skiing. Love that it was open late! I was in town to help him with an issue that we were able to resolve earlier that day so was looking for something fun to do. This was the only hill open that night. The online only ticket and rental was frustrating as the wifi wasn't great and my cell signal wasn't either. But we got through it and went on to have a good time.
Loved the place, great for tubbing, a lot of chutes and two magic carpets that even in peak hour allow you to enjoy the most of the park, the ski area is really nice, really good **** Mary’s too lol
A great local spot to get outside this winter!! We got new boots for our skis and needed a Phillips screwdriver to adjust one of the buckles, the staff at sunburst were so sweet and let us borrow one in the rental shop versus driving home! Great runs, friendly staff, and a nice cold beer to break up the day! So happy the hubby and I decided to start skiing again. Having this hill only 20 minutes away is awesome!
I went tubing here on Tuesday, January 10, 2023. It was a very fun experience, and the staff were very friendly, in fact one of the tubing attendants said hi to me. If you want to avoid crowds, I suggest that you go Tuesday-Thursday where there is unlimited tubing for 4 hrs. with very little crowds, if any. This is just a fun way to enjoy a night on the snow by yourself, and in my case, for 4 hrs. I will go here again soon to tube some more.
