I went here, with friends, on the trip advisor recommendations and it did not disappoint. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was excellent. The location makes it easy to get to and there is ample parking in the streets nearby. The day we went was cold and we ate with our coats on, as the weather warms I think it will prove to be a perfect spot for lunch. View all feedback.
I visited this beautiful restaurant today and had a wonderful afternoon with my child! The staff were very friendly, the food was delicious, and my smoothie was so refreshing! The atmosphere was really nice and relaxing.
Despite the lack of reviews, I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. I had feared we would be the only customers and that the food options would be limited to pre-made sandwiches and generic sweets. However, I was mistaken. The courtyard was charming, with plenty of indoor seating as well. The nursery area was cute and a lovely place to explore, especially in good weather. Today we enjoyed eggs with various sides and an egg and bacon roll with tomato salsa and aioli. The menu was reasonably priced and offered good options for children, including fairy bread. The portions were generous and our meals were delicious. The egg and bacon roll was particularly tasty, accompanied by a good cup of coffee. While this cafe may not be as trendy as others in the area, it still attracted a steady stream of customers. The staff were friendly although a bit overwhelmed, appearing rushed despite most customers taking their time. Surprisingly, I would definitely consider returning to this restaurant. It has even inspired me to create my own little garden.
Now that we are right into Spring it’s time to get inspired with your garden and to get outside with your kids – and Kew Nursery and Cafe will help you with both those aims. As the name suggests, it’s a nursery nestled in the residential streets of Kew. It’s quite small but has the range of flowers, herbs, vegetables that suitable for the urban gardener.
Well priced.. I'm unsure about the other reviews claiming this place is overpriced but personally I've found it to be very reasonable. I would have to agree on the comments about some of the staff. It's standard breakfast fare at good prices. 2 drinks and 2 breakfasts came in around $40. We'll be back
Kew Gem. Had a great brunch here today. Good, efficient service and fab food. PERFECT coffee. Lovely setting. <br/ <br/ The French toast with poached pear, rhubarb and cinnamon cream was really scrumptious. Freshly squeezed orange juice was freshly squeezed.
