Unfortunately, the cook has... read more The Laurushaus was one of my favorite restaurants in front of the pandemic. The kitchen was awarded 1 star MICHELIN and the service. Unfortunately, the cook has reoriented during the COVID closure, and also parts of the staff have found new actuating fields. I fear that this restaurant will no longer exist in old quality.

The location is beautiful, and the entire team was ex... read more We celebrated our wedding at Schloss Hugenpoet in September 2024, and overall everything worked very well. The location is beautiful, and the entire team was extremely attentive, professional, and supportive throughout the day. The event itself ran smoothly, and everything turned out perfectly. My only recommendation would be for clearer communication regarding responsibilities and task allocation. It was not completely clear to us which tasks the Hugenpoet team would organize and which ones were not included, such as the reception and coordination of external service providers on the day of the event, as well as the organization and cleaning after the celebration. To avoid any potential issues, we decided to hire an external planner for the day. This is not meant as a criticism of the team, who were always kind and helpful, but rather as feedback that clearer upfront clarification could help future couples plan with more confidence. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we truly enjoyed celebrating our special day at Schloss Hugenpoet.
