Was Kate at Racehorses a mag?
We stopped by here halfway through a walk. The staff were very pleasant. We ordered tea and this comes as individual tea pots of hot water with the teabag served on the side for you to brew your own tea. I don’t think tea brews as well when you don’t pour the hot water directly on the teabag and it was confusing. Otherwise very good. Service: 5 Location: 5 View all feedback.

What Andrew McDonald dislikes about Racehorses:
Called in for lunch , very overpriced , for what it was , we ordered the burger and beef sandwich , one lazer cut slice of beef in the sarnie, burger was £18 ,sarnie was a ten spot , its a popular spot , so I guess it's maximising the finger screws, their are 3 pubs in the village , my lady wasn't impressed at all Service: 3 Location: 5 View all feedback.

My wife I, along with our pooch, visited the Racehorses last night. Very nice pub, good selection of ales and a friendly landlord with a sense of humour. Out of the blue our dog needed a poop but was unable to reach the exit without making a mess! Mortified doesn't cut it but the staff were simply superb. I obviously tried to clean it up but they came to the rescue, they were brilliant. I can't thank them enough for their kindness, patience understanding with a situation not in their remit! Amazing people, thank you so much and, once again, my apologies.

We were just out exploring the countryside and decided to go to Kettlewell and have lunch. It was just a coincidence that we came across this hotel and decided to pull in for something to eat. One of our party is disabled and in a wheelchair and they do not have disabled toilets which was disappointing as he needed to go whilst we were there. It was a bit tricky manoeuvring him as there were a couple of steps to navigate, but we managed. The bar and resteraunt was empty as it was 2 o'clock and we were the only ones inside. We ordered food and drink and the service was very good indeed and couldn't fault it. Nice and friendly. The food, on the other hand was awful. There were 3 of us, and two of us ordered fish and chips and the other scampi and chips. The fish was more batter, and the fish itself was so thin it was virtually non-existent and overcooked as it was so thin, the edges of the fish being crispy. The chips were anaemic and looked as though they had come out of the freezer and not hand-made as you would have expected for the high price they charged. The scampi was not much better, only a few pieces and again expensive. Overall, it was an expensive lunch for what we got. When asked if everything was OK, my friend pointed this out, and hopefully, they will take note of our disappointment in the food. The rest being fine. Food drinks: As already pointed out.
