Many have found the new kebabs, grilled to perfection with fresh pita and homemade chili sauce, to be a delightful surprise. The restaurant's commitment to improving its offerings is evident, with reports of speedy delivery and satisfying portion sizes. Despite the nostalgic attachment to the previous iteration, it appears that the new direction is winning over a growing number of customers eager to return.
Once again, for the third (and final) time, they messed up the order and the food was cold. I was very disappointed as I was looking forward to a nice meal, but didn't receive everything I ordered and paid for, and it was served cold. Thankfully, there is another restaurant nearby that I can go to instead of returning to this place.
It had been a while since my last visit, but I was pleasantly surprised by the changes at this restaurant. It was no longer just a greasy late-night kebab spot; it had transformed into a culinary delight. The lamb was cooked to perfection, with tender pieces grilled over charcoal to absolute perfection. The homemade hot chili sauce and fresh salad added the perfect finishing touch.
Some of the reviews of the new menu at Jess's are simply showing loyalty to the previous owners. Honestly, we were fans of the old Jess's, but the new food menu is fantastic. The kebabs come with fresh, thick pita bread, lots of salad, and delicious meats. The wraps are hot and generously portioned. The fries are crispy and hot, not soggy at all. The delivery was the quickest I've ever experienced. We prefer this food much more, even though we understand why people loved the previous owners. The new menu is amazing and all of the food was perfect. You should try it for yourself. We plan to come back to try the pizzas next!
Definitely wouldn't order again, placed an order for a delivery,asked for the doorbell to NOT be rung but obviously they rang it, turnt up with no drink (already paid),sauce all over the food when asked it to be seperarte, chips were awful tasted stale but soggy I can't even explain, so disappointed. Never again
Use to order before got took over and still do food always been good my partner always has the veggie pizza and she loves it portion sizes good tried the kofta kebab tonight excellent different to one I’m use too but bit far to go get it so very impressed lots of it very tasty speedy delivery they our trying with the take over it will be different but definitely order again yum
