The dinner was average. In my opinion, the escargot was a 3 out of 5. There was only one type of cabernet on the menu, priced at $17 per glass or $51 per bottle. I have had better boxed cabernet before, giving it a 2 out of 5. My friend's salad was made with mixed greens and shredded carrots. Gorgeous garden, perfect martinis, could use a menu update, but everything is always good.
Food was just ok. Chicken was on the drier side. Service was slower.
Nice ambiance, but food was nothing amazing. Prime rib was pretty good but a very small portion. Filet was good, but they had zero availability of any steak sauces--neither A1 and such or any house made sauces. Creme brulee was mediocre at best, with the custard part warm and thin under the crust.
We had a great meal. I had the filet, and my girlfriend had the schnitzel. The food was great, and the service was prompt and very pleasant.
Excellent service and unbelievable filet mignon! We sat in the bar area during the dinner rush to be in a quieter place and loved that we still got a private table. The food came out super quick and was delicious! And the popovers with honey butter is such a nice treat to accompany the meal. Will be back when we’re in sun valley.
