Heritage Kitchen - Kerrville

It was a slow Saturday night. eating was pretty good. the waiter was pleasant, but a little slow. he stressed this by apologising each time he approached.

First visit. brunch on Sunday. 3 of us. hummus appetizer came at the same time as entree. the flat brot had an identity crisis - a part of each piece was very hard and a part was soft. the hummus flavor was excellent and the flat brot was tasty and well seasoned, but the texture was the only problem. steak and feta salat was very tasty, but short on feta. the breakfast sandwich was excellent. the breakfast stuff was a bit on the soggy side. chorizo and kartoffels were very good. a proposal for a brunch would be to offer orange juice and perhaps even mimic. the restaurant looks brilliant on the inside, very clean and modern and comfortable. greeter front very friendly. our server was very nice. will come to an evening meal in the near future!

This visit was my second visit at Heritage Kitchen. Both visits the wait staff was understaffed. The waitstaff that were on duty were unable to handle the number of tables they were to service.The restaurant was very loud, it was difficult to have a conversation.One of the dishes ordered was a vegetable salad bowl at a cost of What was brought to the table was a small dinner salad. I let the waitress know that I was unhappy the the size of the salad. The floor manager came to the table to correct the situation. Another salad was brought to the table. The floor manager was very concerned with making us happy. We were satisfied with the solution.Overall, I would say I would go back again but I hope the owners make some attempt to address the noise level by placing acoustic panels or something to lower background noise. The management needs to hire more staff

The food was excellent! Service was ok, we had to ask for water times before we were served. Our waitress was friendly but did not check in often

Really big portions the piece of cake could have fed the of us. Everyone at the table enjoyed their food. I had the mac cheese. Quite tasty, but it would have been nice if a bit less was offered, and in exchange, a small salad. That was a LOT of the same food, no matter how tasty
