It took almost 20 minutes just to get the menu to order. We had a table reserved inside but were given one outside. The friendliness of the staff is hit or miss; some are friendly, others curt, and still others quite unfriendly. The beach is nice, but otherwise, it's extremely loud and not very cozy. It's okay once, but not worth going back to as long as the service isn't up to par.

We were looking for typical German dishes (we didn't catch the names) and we were delighted! The service, the friendliness of the staff, as well as the decor and the quality of the food, impressed us greatly. Furthermore, the cube on the table for calling a server and paying was an excellent idea! And the servers were very attentive. In short, we highly recommend this restaurant.
