Was Anonym at Royal a mag?
Had a beautiful meal , Valentine’s Day , on the balcony, the sweets platter was the best we have ever had , followed up by some dancing to live music in the bar , great fun night with good friends. View all feedback.

What Anonym dislikes about Royal:
Came for lunch and ordered gluten free beef burger. Was told they would need to remove the chips as they weren’t GF, which is fine, and that they would substitute with a side salad. 20 min after ordering they told me they realised they had no GF buns so my burger would just be the patty with salad. I was genuinely impressed by the salt and pepper calamari. I've traveled to all the capital cities in Australia, as well as top restaurants in Hong Kong and Singapore, but this calamari is the best I've ever had. The freshness, as it wasn’t frozen, made all the difference. It was served with a side of arugula, Spanish onion, and parmesan, and I would consider it world-class—a hidden gem in a sleepy Victorian city. I'll definitely return here when I want to practice in Kerang and explore more of the juicy dishes they offer.

Both a Pub a Cafe which is great. I had the Chicken Caesar which was delicious and my friend went for the grilled chicken burger which she liked as it was very home-made. Service was good and it was beautiful to have an open fire near-by. Will definitely return!
