What User dislikes about Royal:
Came for lunch and ordered gluten free beef burger. Was told they would need to remove the chips as they weren’t GF, which is fine, and that they would substitute with a side salad. 20 min after ordering they told me they realised they had no GF buns so my burger would just be the patty with salad. When my meal arrived it was a bland mince patty on top of a very basic salad (iceberg lettuce and sliced tomato), no add... View all feedback.

It's great to have the opportunity to dine out in a small town. I ordered the vegetable stack and it was delicious. The staff were very friendly and welcoming.

It was a wonderful experience dining in a small town. I ordered the Veg Stack and it was delicious. The staff was very friendly and welcoming.

When my meal arrived, I was disappointed to find a bland mint-flavored patty on a very basic salad (just iceberg lettuce and sliced tomatoes), without any additional side salad—just the chopped lettuce. All of this for $20, which I don't think was worth it. The others I was with ordered focaccias, which came with processed, greasy toppings and a side of wedges. They had to ask for the dips because those were not provided with the wedges. Overall, the experience was underwhelming and not worth the price.

I was in the mood for steak, so I opted for the scotch fillet with bearnaise sauce. I inquired about it being cooked medium rare, and it was cooked to perfection. I could easily cut through it with a butter knife—it was that tender. The chips tasted homemade, and the dressing on the salad was exquisite. The atmosphere was warm, and the service was quick and incredibly friendly. Overall, it was one of the most memorable culinary experiences I've had in recent years.
