Was John Chandran at Camp Forest a mag?
It is rare to find a lovely vegetarian meal for only RM5.00, which includes a main course and a hot/cold Chinese tea. I found this gem at the camp forest! I loved the old-school feel of the place, it seems like they have been around for a long time. The Tonpot mushroom rice was delicious, especially with the crispy rice at the bottom of the bowl. Just a note, the location is a bit off the beaten path!

As description there are Chinese and western cuisine. eating makes the mess, although the prices are a little expensive. the decoration of the shop is beautiful, good place to relax.

It's not often that you can find a delicious vegetarian meal for only RM5.00, which includes a main course and a hot/cold Chinese tea. I discovered this gem in the Camp Forest. We visited during the day, so it didn't quite have the forest feel, but I imagine it would be even more charming at night. The restaurant has both air-conditioned and open-air seating areas. I loved the old-school vibe of the place, it definitely feels like it's been around for a while. The Tonpot mushroom rice was outstanding, especially with the crispy rice on top. Just a heads up, the restaurant is located on a dead-end road.
