Nestled in a lively setting, this restaurant impresses with its inviting atmosphere and friendly staff, though service occasionally wavers. Known for generous portions of flavorful comfort food—especially the standout fried chicken with rich red eye gravy and tri-tip appetizers—it’s a must-visit for those craving hearty, satisfying meals. The cocktail menu offers creative choices, though some mixology details could be refined. While the beignets have mixed reviews, the overall dining experience is enjoyable. Seating may be a bit tight, possibly encouraging faster turnover, but reasonable prices and a welcoming vibe make it a favored spot worth returning to.

I love this restaurant and enjoy coming here. They make phenomenal cocktails and drinks They take great pride in their food, too. Only downside to this place are the prices. I love their beignets!

Came here for brunch. My sandwich was good, our friends enjoyed their food (corn bread looking dish and the grits). My wife being allergic to Gluten and Dairy does make going to places sometimes hard. This being one of those places. Trying to explain to the waitress what Gluten was just wasn 't worth our time after multiple attempts. We were able to order certain sides for her. Other than the poached eggs being more soft boiled, she was happy. We were told one of the main reasons to come here was the Beignets. We ordered two orders between the three that could eat them. As you can see from the pictures they were raw on the inside. We brought this up to waitress who said she would take these and get new ones. We were all done eating by the time the new ones came out- (they state takes 15minutes to prepare). We cut into the first two and they were literally just as raw, liquid dough as the first. Being that I 've had many beignets, we ended up just asking for them to be taken off and they did.

We had an amazing time celebrating my birthday at Tips Roadside. They easily accommodated our large group. Dominic, our waiter, was exceptional throughout the evening. His recommendations were spot on, and everyone loved their meals and drinks. I chose the pork chop and it was delicious.

This restaurant is outstanding. It was formerly known as the 'Vineyard Inn' a long time ago. The ambiance is fantastic, and the staff is very welcoming. The food is tasty, featuring generous portions at fair prices. My only issue was that the seating was a bit uncomfortable, which I suspect is meant to promote quicker customer turnover. Nevertheless, I am definitely looking forward to coming back here.

I stopped by for a few drinks and really enjoyed the ambiance; it was quite pleasant. The staff were friendly and welcoming, although the service could use some improvement. We found it strange that the martini olives were completely hollow—no pimento, cheese, or garlic inside. I had requested an extra dirty martini, but it didn't seem very dirty at all. I was also a bit surprised that there were no French fries on the menu at a roadhouse.
