Hands down the best authentic tacos (carne asada) in Grand Rapids. The Mexican rice is always superb as well. If you haven’t tried this nice local eats then it’s a must. I’ve tried them all and this is far superior in comparison. View all feedback. What R doesn't like about Tacos El Ganadero:
We came here based off the great reviews but we feel differently. The order process was a little longer than normal (confusion on 2 asada, 1 pollo) they charge you more for asada and cheese (never got put on my tacos but charged .50 for cheese) The portions are large so you definitely are full by the time you leave. The chicken tasted old and the steak was very hard and dry. View all feedback.

Hole in the wall type of place. Great tasting food.
It's hard to tell from the outside, but this is a real hidden gem here in Grand Rapids. Hands down the best Mexican food in my opinion.
Had tacos , guacamole chips, and Gordita with Carne Asasda (steak)
