I absolutely love the spicy noodle soup here! I've tried it at many different places, but I haven't been able to find a flavor that matches what I'm looking for. The decor is beautiful—likely the best I've seen in any pho restaurant in the area. The service can be a bit slow when it gets busy, probably due to a limited number of staff, but the food is definitely worth the wait!
I absolutely adore this cozy restaurant! I tried the Bun Bo Hue (spicy beef noodle soup) and the Cafe Sua Da (Iced Sweet Cream Coffee), and both were outstanding, along with the service. I first inquired if their broth contained MSG, and thankfully it does not. The portions were large and only cost $11 (check out the photos!). The dining area is spacious and impeccably clean, reminiscent of the cafés in Saigon, though it's missing the motor scooters. Definitely a thumbs up!
The restaurant's interior is quite chaotic, with disorganized items visible behind the counter and numerous packaging materials in plain sight. The kitchen is also easily visible, which felt a bit strange. The waitress seemed overwhelmed and forgot utensils for multiple customers, and I felt rushed when placing my order. The tables from previous diners took a long time to be cleaned. Perhaps they could benefit from hiring additional staff? On the positive side, the food arrived quickly, but it had an odd flavor and there was barely any meat in the noodles—a growing trend among pho restaurants. I wouldn't recommend this place to others. While my experience wasn’t terrible and I appreciated having a meal here since I was hungry and avoiding fast food, there are definitely better pho options available.
I've ordered pho, sandwiches, noodle bowls, rice dishes many times, my most recent order was brisket pho beef yakisoba. I was eating the pho thought the cook must have accidently dropped the salt shaker in the soup. It was so salty to be inedible.I took a bite of the yakisoba it was extremely salty too. Did they change cooks? What happened? Not willing to take anotherchance by ordering here.
I also noticed that some guests seemed offended when they weren’t warmly welcomed at closing time, but it’s important to understand that the staff has to clean the entire restaurant, not just your table. Overall, my first visit was a wonderful experience, and I can't wait to return!
