Evergreen Chinese Buffet - Kent

I came to this buffet since I was in college in Kent State (over 15 years), and always had a great experience and the food was always delicious! We will usually come out now, but the price remained reasonable and the food remained the same great quality. I recently saw the signs complained about food waste and knew that there would be negative reviews, so I wanted to make sure that I added a positive one as we love this place and the service is great! My favorite is the crispy chicken and chicken and mushrooms!

The food was good and the prices are good at。 But it was really interesting to see the comments. Why not eat at home if you can cook better. Some people get bad reviews for not tapping. Some people have bad traces for food. Aren't you ashamed of what you did? I feel very disappointed. Is there so much garbage in America? Would you be involuntary if you didn't make any trouble? You don't have to tell anyone you don't come back. Nobody cares. Do not act like a child

To our surprise my husband and I give Evergreen Buffet 5 stars, we arrived when they opened, they had BBQ Ribs tips, crab ragoon, all different types of chicken, crispy egg rolls, soft serve ice cream, sushi, almond cookies, pepper steak, peel eat shrimp and SO much more, this place looks small but there is a lot to choose from. The only disturbing part of our visit is that some of the employees are still wearing The Mask, I always wonder if the owner is the one that's forcing the employees to wear their Chains or if it's willingly? There was a little girl there that had The Mask on too. I felt sad for all of them that had them on. We enjoy seeing smiles, we don't go out often so it's important to see faces, I've always been against The Mask, I never wore it willingly because I know that viruses will virus and that viruses enter into the body MANY different ways and that wearing tight fitting goggles and a N95 mask or respirator is only going to help keep viruses at bay as long as they aren't touched so I hope next time we visit we'll be able to see the employees beautiful faces which makes people healthy naturally to give smiles too. We did have a server that wasn't wearing The Mask so that was nice. Thank you for the GREAT food and service. We'll be back

By far, my favorite Chinese buffet. There are so many options to choose from and they are all equally delicious. They have the best egg drop soup, sushi and sweet and sour chicken. The staff is very friendly and always talking to my daughter when we come in. They are very family-friendly. I never have to ask for a booster seat they're already bringing to our table. I wish they were still offering crab legs, but I understand that things are now hard to get and very expensive. I think for what you don't eat is a very good idea. People waste so much food on buffets should they have to pay to have a whole dish of food they have only taken 2 bites away. We'll be back soon! Again visited 4/29, as always fresh and delicious food, friendly waitress and the staff is always very friendly. The banana pudding was a pleasant surprise.

We had randomly tried this place after we found the place we wanted to go to, closed and I'm so glad we landed at Evergreen. It could be my new favorite buffet, the food is so good and they have a great variety, the staff is so beautiful and attentive, great first experience. The interior is a little dated, but don't let you frighten the food is great and it's clean just dated.
