Tucked away in a bustling plaza, this restaurant has quickly gained a loyal following for its delectable Vietnamese cuisine, particularly its pho, which many deem the best in Washington. While the menu shines with delicious banh mi, chicken noodle salad bowls, and affordable spring rolls, some guests have noted inconsistencies in takeout orders, particularly regarding meat preparation. The atmosphere can get warm at times, and service can feel rushed during peak hours. Despite occasional drawbacks, the fresh ingredients and flavorful offerings make it a must-visit spot for both casual diners and pho enthusiasts alike.

Was Steve at Cat Sang a mag?
This restaurant offers ample parking and plenty of seating, although the bench seats can be a bit awkward if the diners behind you lean back. The service provided two cups of iced water instead of tea, which was a unique touch. I ordered the Phnom Style noodle soup, which was flavorful with pork bone soup, ground pork, sliced pork, squid, and shrimp. My wife ordered the combination rice plate with a small portion of... What craig armstrong dislikes about Cat Sang:
Have been coming to Cat Sang for several years and it has always been amazing. Not anymore. The new ownership is ruining this once dependable gem of a restaurant. The service, pho (who's idea was it to change the broth recipe!? and prices are noticeably different (not in a good way . The experience is less than adequate now for what you're paying. I am currently searching for a new pho spot...not happy about that at... View all feedback.

The A1. Goi Cuon Spring Rolls (2 Rolls) are delicious and affordable. I appreciate that they are individually wrapped and the peanut sauce is rich and flavorful. The P10. Pho Chin Bo Vien Brisket Meatball Noodle Soup has a fantastic broth and generous portions of meat and noodles. The meat is fresh and tender, not chewy. The meatballs are also very tasty.

The pho at this restaurant is consistently top-notch. The broth is exceptional, and the person taking your order is always friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this place - it's difficult to find good broth like theirs! 10/10.

The food at C5 is fantastic! The Com Tam Suon, Bi, Cha Pork Chops, Julienne Pork, and Egg Cake with Broken Rice were all bursting with flavor. I particularly enjoyed the carrots and daikon. The Cha Gio was hot, fresh, and packed with meat. Our friend even said they tasted just like his mom and aunt's homemade version. We will definitely be returning for game day!

I've been going to this place since 2020 and since then I've become their regular customer. Their food is close to authentic Vietnamese dishes. And their quality haven't changed much. I can appreciate the consistency. Their pricing before and after pandemic is reasonable (except a few items). Where a lot of other restaurants charged a ridiculous amount, they maintained their reasonable pricing. I would recommend them to anyone who doesn't wanna break their bank and still be able to enjoy decent Viet food.
