I go here regularly for a coffee and morning tea or lunch. The owner and staff are very friendly and make one feel welcome. All the food is made on the premises and there is also a good menu selection which changes fairly regularly. The coffee is great (better than previous owner) and owner is also prepared to cater for outside functions.Worth a visit.... View all feedback.

I was greeted as soon as I stepped through the door on the hunt for my weekend chai latte. The owner/ waiter/ front of house acknowledged every single person as they stepped through the door; even if he couldn't serve them straight away. Excellent service !! Their breakfast options contained all the usual, but what I had was very tasty. Wish I could have tried the vast array of cakes & savouries as well. A lovely weekend spot!
This café replaces the former Oriel Café. The location is convenient, with a handy bus stop, and available car parking – although the street parking may be preferred to the somewhat hazardous shopping centre parking. The inside arrangement is little changed, except that a table and bar stools face out to the street, replacing the table seating by the window which we used to enjoy. There is seating for about 30 people in a pleasant space with quiet music. There is a good range of cakes and a variety lunch offerings, and we particularly enjoy our slice of 'Persian Love Cake'! The drinks are to order, and brought to our table, and payment is left to the end. A pleasant experience, although I would say a little pricey: as a guide, our order of one slice of cake and two hot drinks comes to $14.50, and we could have had soup for $12. Worth a visit!
Our previous experience was blah but we decided to come here for a second time.
We came here for my birthday this year - hooray! The location is great but there arent a lot of tables, so you will need to wait or come a little early.
