Tucked away in World’s End, Chelsea, this is a good old-fashioned pub. We had a reserved table tucked away in the corner. The place was virtually empty on a weekday lunchtime but started to fill up from about 3:00pm. Five of us ordered food, ranging from fish and chips, burger, sausages and mash and steak and mushroom pie. It’s fair to say all five plates were completely cleared. My fish and chips was good. What Gio doesn't like about Sporting Page:
Beer was good, burger bun and chips were a bit dry. Pub looks ok, nothing special. Pub quiz on Sunday night, a few board games, and projector and big screen for showing matches. View all feedback.
A good pint in London. Not much more you can ask for. Delightful.
This was a bit of an average pub, nothing too special! The drinks were usual price (about £5 for a beer and £6/7 for a glass of wine), and nothing stood out to me as very interesting or exciting, despite being a Saturday night. If you're after a drink in the area though, I'd still pop in for one drink if I were you. It's pleasant enough, and it is a lovely old building, from the outside. It had a nice grand bay front door that's nice and traditional. The bar menu looked like a good variety too, but we didn't try any of the food. They also do play sports on a projector screen, so that's a good point too
Classical hidden English pub among residential area, by a smaller road. Love it. As the pub name reveals, showing sports.
Lovely G T. Can't go back as they don't take money. Very discriminatory against people who haven’t got bank accounts.
Excellent service. I called to ask were they showing the Irish rugby game and they said they were only showing the All Blacks. About 5 minutes later, one of the bar staff phone me to say they would put it on for me. Brilliant follow service. The staff were so friendly and the beer lovely. I will definitely come back here.
