I have never been disappointed by Eat Tokyo. I have visited about ten times and each time I have enjoyed delicious food. The bento boxes are a great value and you must try one. The miso soup is definitely worth the price, with its fantastic smell and taste. I highly recommend this restaurant. View all feedback.
What Marina B doesn't like about Eat Tokyo:
Disgusting food and even more disgusting service. I had a few pieces of sushi and it was really off. Then I looked at my tuna and it's colour was not right either. You can tell it was standing there all.day exposed and wasn't good to serve. I could also tell the dish altogether wasn't fresh as rice was dry and vegetables in the rolls were rotten. When I said to the manager and showed her the bad tuna, she said my tas... View all feedback.
I'm a little foodie and love sushi. I've been living in london for 8 years and can honestly say this is the best sushi I had. the restaurant itself does not look glamorous, it is very small. I like that. eating is unbelievable, although the restaurant is unpredictable. it has a very authentic feeling, it and the service time is fast. I would highly recommend this place and order the aubergine! (nasu dengaku)
Sushi (nigiri) was really excellent, but I also had the chicken teriyaki jyu that came with a layer mayonnaise and wild salat between huhn and rice, this was an unpleasant surprise. the portion size was huge. based on my experience, I would go back, but only for the sushi, maybe they try a Bento box next time and ask her for no mayo.
Great eating, but: perhaps the worst structured menu ever seen. too much choice, menus, take them away, mixes and individual sushi that they totally lost. the people in the service hardly understand you so that they can not help. when the place is full, they take forever to serve them and sometimes forget courts. the place is too small and too loud, although if they want something similar to a real sushi spot experience in japan, they are halfway there.
Very efficient in service and customer service, many dishes, reasonable price and very fresh food. I have gone several times and the experience has always been very positive. the place is usually full always so it is best to book if you don't want to be waiting at the door, although the wait is not very long because they are very fast at the service.
Once you get past the tangible lack of wifi signal and unusual smell, your taste buds will give the food here a standing ovation. A perfect meal here comprises the black cod, fermented eggplant, seaweed salad and sake shots. If you've got somewhere to be and quick power up on a bento box instead!
