Contribute FeedbackCafé Diana offers a nostalgic experience with a tribute to Princess Diana through decor. While some enjoy the ambiance and full English breakfast options, negative reviews highlight cleanliness issues, underwhelming food, and poor service. With fading pictures and worn-out seating, the café seems to rely too much on its historical connection rather than investing in improvements. While some patrons cherish the memories of Lady Diana Spencer here, others feel the experience falls short. An average choice for a meal in the neighborhood but might be worth a visit just for the atmosphere and historical significance.
A very sad excuse for a English Breakfast. Just look at the photo I've posted. 1 and a half mushroom?!?! Service is really bad also. Waiters are treated like slaves.
As builders, we are often rejected from certain cafes, but not this one. We were pleasantly surprised by the warm, friendly service and delicious food at this establishment.
I recently returned to this restaurant after more than 20 years. I remembered it as a clean, well-lit place adorned with pictures of Princess Diana and letters from her to the cafe owners. However, the current state of the restaurant can only be described as faded. The leather seats are in terrible condition and many of the photos have faded from sunlight exposure. The service was also disappointing. The waitress forgot my order for a salad, orange juice, and tap water, only remembering after I reminded her after ten minutes. The food was average and the waitress inexplicably shared a personal story about a wound on her hand. During my meal, I noticed an ant on my table. It took a long time for the bill to arrive, and I was eager to leave. This experience made me realize that some memories are best left untouched. I have no intention of returning to this place. It seems that the owners are still capitalizing on the Diana connection but neglecting to invest in improvements such as new seating or better staff training.
Unfortunately the place was filthy and required a. Good cleaning, the toilets were indescribable would not recommend going unless desperate. The food was underwhelming, but okay. Would not recommend.
This restaurant is a great spot in the neighborhood for breakfast, offering a variety of food options at a reasonable price. The full English breakfast was satisfying, but there were also many healthier choices available. The orange juice was refreshing and tasty. The atmosphere had a fun Princess Diana theme. It's definitely worth stopping by if you're in the area.
