Contribute FeedbackAt Avenue Bar, guests experience a mix of ambience and service that often leaves much to be desired. While the decor is inviting and ideal for drinks, the dining experience falls short due to inconsistent service and underwhelming food quality at higher price points. Though some patrons have praised the flavors of certain dishes, others have remarked on poor seasoning and lack of portion size. Friendly staff can sometimes brighten the visit, but slow service and disorganization detract from the overall experience. Ultimately, Avenue Bar serves as a convenient spot, though it may leave diners wanting more.
The supervisor, who appeared to be a tall Indian man, was disorganized and impolite. I attempted to order drinks at the bar, but he instructed me to sit down. Since I was already at the bar, I insisted that I could order my drinks there. However, he ignored me, focused on the till for a while, then walked away without a word. I overheard him speaking rudely about me to someone else as he left. After waiting for a few minutes, another staff member finally served me. I will not be returning to this restaurant with such rude staff members.
Good ambience in the evening and it was fairly busy. Nice spot for a drink. Food is not it's strong point and is on the pricey side. Service from staff was very good.
Good position near the exits of the Hilton Kensington. Good choice of drinks and food. Music playing low and sometimes sport on the large flat screen tv.
We ate at the restaurant twice during our stay at the Hotel. Service was excellent and food very nice. Very friendly staff.
This is a great spot to enjoy a drink, and their Espresso martini is amazing. The only downside is that they close a bit early, but I suppose that's typical for this area.
