I even met Filippo, who was casually enjoying a sandwich and chips at a table. He was incredibly kind and congratulated my husband and me as I'm expecting. (And yes, my doctor approved eating deli meat in moderation.) The place has such a cozy, homey vibe—it truly felt like being back home. Now, about the food: I ordered a large ham and cheese with all the toppings. The sandwich was easily three times the size of a regular one and worth every penny. My husband had a roast beef sandwich. I also grabbed some Italian cookies, which are the real deal. Usually, I have to get my mom or cousins to send them to me since Italian bakeries are rare around here. I'm so happy to have found this little gem and will definitely be returning next week!
