Description

**Restaurant Review: Percy's Pizza**

Percy's Pizza, a beloved staple in the neighborhood, offers a classic New York slice with a perfectly crispy crust and quality ingredients. While patrons appreciate the friendly staff and reasonable prices, negative experiences have been reported, including poor handling of service dog policies and complaints about customer service. The small space accommodates limited seating, and the lack of a restroom may deter some visitors. While its minimalistic decor may not impress, the flavors of the pizza certainly deliver, making Percy's a worthwhile stop for those seeking a delicious slice amid the hustle of the city.

The pizza is inexpensive, and you can definitely tell—it had a very basic flavor, with my cheese slice tasting quite bland. On a positive note, the staff are friendly. The indoor seating is limited, but there are a few tables outside by the curb.

I found hair in my food, and when I brought it to the owner’s attention, he yelled at me. The pizza wasn't good either, and the owner struck me as an irritable old man. I would not recommend supporting this place.

I experienced a disappointing situation at this restaurant today when I was refused service with my service dog. I informed the staff that I had identification for my dog, but the staff member was extremely rude and told me I couldn't enter. He insisted that only disabled individuals are allowed to have service dogs and seemed very uneducated on the matter. This was the worst customer service I have ever encountered. He became visibly angry, raised his voice, and refused to engage in a calm discussion. He dismissed my dog as a smaller breed, assuming he couldn't possibly be a service animal, and didn't even allow me the chance to show his ID. It’s fortunate for the business that I’m not reporting them to NY state, as it’s illegal to deny entry to someone with a service dog, provided they have the proper identification, which I did. His assumption about my disability was shockingly ignorant. I hope that this was just an employee acting inappropriately and that the owner can address this issue.

Ordered one mushroom pizza $4 mixed veggie pizza $5 extra cheese x 2 $2 service is good. Friendly, and only one person is running at this place. located on Bleeker st x macdougal st It's very small store but there's a place to sit down but no bathroom. The store is open door so you might feel very cold during autumn and winter time.
