Inside Nonantum Resort they have a pub, with a menu till 8pm. Started with an appetizer of perogies, they were good but they only give 3 of them which the price didn't match the amount they give you. For our meals I had the double cheeseburger and my wife had the lobster roll. The burger was really good and had plenty of cheese on it. My wife said the lobster roll had the perfect lobster to roll ratio. They also have... View all feedback.
What Stephen Cooper doesn't like about Latitudes At Nonantum Resort:
We had a family wedding there on Sept 24th. Beautiful venue. Our food was in my opinion great. We had filet with asparagus and mashed potatoes. My Aunt paid for open bar. The problem lies with the male bartender who was serving us. He repeatedly yelled at guests. He threatened my wife and I that if we drank our rocks vodka “like a shot” he would cut off all mixed alcohol for the whole wedding party. For the amount of... View all feedback.
We swapped out a reservation at Scales in Portland for something closer and we were incredibly disappointed. I don 't think I 've ever left a bad review before but the photos vs the reality were a stark difference. The price points on menu items were the same as scales or any other restaurant we ate at but nearly every dish used previously frozen ingredients even the strawberry shortcake used frozen strawberries....(it 's summer fresh strawberries are easy to come by). The gnocchi said handmade and at $40/plate I believed them but it was nothing like the fresh handmade melt in your mouth gnocchi from Chez Rosa or 50 local, it was tough like it was probably hand made then thrown in the freezer. My kiddo not seeing the waitress mentioned to the table how hard his chocolate cake was and the waitress without missing a beat said oh its because it was frozen . The appetizers were messy and frozen corn and canned beans is not what any of us expected when paying $500 for a meal. I gave a star for convenient parking which is hard to come by in Kennebunk.

For the amount of money spent no guest should be threatened and told how to drink a drink. Needless to say I didn’t have another drink because of fear of him yelling at us again. This was a adult wedding not some Frat House children’s wedding. We won’t be going back there anytime soon or have any family weddings there again.
Loved the food and service...nice evening for our family!
I love this place- it’s kinda of a hidden gem because you wouldn’t usually think an old time family resort would have such great food! There’s a nice view, the evening hostess, Emily, is an absolute delight! Eating at the Heckman’s pub is cute. It doesn’t have the same view as the restaurant though. I had an excellent dish of scallops!
Great service and awesome warm butter lobster rolls
