I came to the Wells, Maine location. Heather greeted me and sat at the bar with a drink and food menu. Peter was my bartender and waiter. He beat the strawberry Basil Cosmo with the house Vodka. It was perfect. I was from New Orleans it had the right amount of vodka?. I ordered the smoked Schellfisch kitchen, garlic chili wings and the glazed carrots. Everything was delicious and the service was impeccable. I enjoyed... View all feedback.

LOVED our visit to Batson River? older millennials beware as you will be enamoured with the mid-90s to early noughties playlist (think Matchbox 20 and Train , local craft spirits with the most lovely unique pairings (lavender in a whiskey sour?! and exceptional food. We were beyond impressed with the service, the flavour explosions in the food (eg candied lemon peel with bearnaise on wood fired asparagus and the kindness and attentiveness of the staff. We are gutted that we weren?t able to have multiple meals here and will absolutely coming back. Definitely worth a visit if you?re anywhere nearby? and are destined to help put Kennebunk on the map even more so. Lovely vibes and local feel in the restaurant too.
I've been to the Portland location and now this one, and this one was a little disappointing. The chicken in the Caeser salad was like the God of fire kissed it for about twenty minutes too long. The poutine was good but I remember it being better in Portland. Beer was still good.
A cozy little brewery/distillery. The food drink menu may be minimal, but the flavor is certainly not. The drinks are mixed well by knowledgeable bartenders. However, the food was the show-stopper. Order the duck fat cornbread. Just do it. We ordered a variety of apps, and every single one was delicious. We visited in the off-season, but they still delivered great service and quality. Outside are 5-6 little private ice fishing huts, where you can sit with a group of 4-6 people for an extra hourly rate. I will definitely visit again in the summer.
10 10 for atmosphere and staff but the food just didnt match the atmosphere. We reserved a fishing shack (super cute for a.date night there is a $25 charge for an hour, I didn't notice this when making my reservation but still less than private igloos elsewhere. We had the last reservation (reservations are for 1 hour and you will be asked to move to the bar indoors at an hour if still dining and were informed it was last call upon seating so we ordered our 1 drink an app to split and smaller main courses (Fried Chicken Sandwich and a Caeser Salad. Again, super cute and cozy in the fishing shack dinner for 2 came in just over $100 with the reservation fee for the shack. It was snowing when we arrived and it turned to rain, the sound on the tin roof of the shack only added to the coziness. Unfortunately, the rushed feeling took away from the intimacy, worth a visit but wouldn't make it a regular stop.
