Feedback
Taipa Peruvian Restaurant champions authentic, seafood-forward Peruvian cuisine—standout ceviche, tender octopus, crispy jalea and rich shrimp chupe—all praised for freshness, balanced flavors and generous portions. Attentive, friendly service and a warm, music-filled dining room make it ideal for date nights and group meals; off‑menu mixed plates let you sample more. Prices are fair. Note: parking can be tight and kitchen ventilation is imperfect, occasionally leaving a lingering cooking scent.
Amazing place! It’s a must-visit if you enjoy Peruvian cuisine, especially ceviche. The ceviche here is delicious and bursting with flavor—no fishy taste at all. It’s light and has a genuine fresh lime flavor that just melts in your mouth. You definitely won’t regret trying it! The octopus has a wonderful texture and a hint of spice—no rubbery bits. I could close my eyes and just savor the goodness. The jalea was perfectly crispy and well-executed, with generous portions and a great variety of seafood. The shrimp chupe was incredibly flavorful and simply outstanding—not too fatty or salty. The shrimp were a nice size and had a great texture. This is definitely a great spot if you’re in the mood for warm, slightly creamy food on a chilly day. The restaurant has ample seating and plays good music that’s at the perfect volume, allowing for easy conversation. The service is top-notch—10 out of 10. I would come back to Taipa Peruvian Restaurant 100%, again and again!
Service is great and food was good. Good prices too. Just when we go out, our clothes smell into the kitchen, maybe the extractor doesn't work well. Besides, it was a good experience.
I've been here for a while and I'm very picky with Peruvian restaurants. But the food here stands on its cultural standards AMAZING, the service and the people are wonderful, and the restaurant is sweet. The food does not take long time to get out and is usually worth waiting when they do. Only what can be frustrating is that the parking lot can be tight, but it is still worth it!
Since I lived in Peru for two years, I miss authentic food. This is one of the best Peruvian restaurants I have found from finding them in the major cities of the USA. It comes to a price, but even the ceviche was filled. The food has a similar look and taste to Peruvian food in Peru.
