Maggie's General Store - Kenai

Small but well-stocked natural food business. has many vegan items. small freezer, products and beauty products, but a very good selection of products in each.

I was in the business at eating next door and they had the one I was looking for - vegan ginger shoes! there were many other things that I would have bought if I had to buy, including products, snacks and bulk goods such as nuts, chalk and flour. there were also some good vegan sweets and supplements. the cooler and freeze section was limited, but had a few vegan choices like vegan frozen whip.

This place is fantastic. It feels like stepping back in time to when mom and pop shops were the only shops around. This quaint general store has all the modern amenities of today, but with a nostalgic old-world charm. They offer fresh local products, small batch items, fresh eggs from local sources, organic goods, and much more. My husband and I come here to purchase vitamins and other health products. They also have a great selection of natural body products like deodorant and shampoo. We love getting our local Alaska coffee here as well. You can grab a large bag of coffee to take home, or enjoy a farm-style mixed bowl or soup. Or simply indulge in some old-fashioned sweets and chat with the friendly staff. This is truly one of our favorite spots here on the Kenai Peninsula!

It is a beautiful little place with a big shopping. this business offers bottle crater, vitamine, some gluten-free options, organic fruits and vegetables, some chilled and frozen foods. some food items of the part? everything that is offered is also found at fred meyer for much less. I really want to support the little business. I would pay more for items I could get anywhere or homemade etc. I could miss something like it for more than a year (I think) and that's great!

A large organic selection and the products are always at the top, not to mention the people who work there. they are nice people.
