What Trey Brown doesn't like about Acapulco Mexican:
The food is OK. The Mexican staff are always friendly. The non Mexican staff act like they hurt and don't want to be there. It's always painful to watch them walk around sad and in distress it seems. . The food is warm and taste well . Nothing over the top here , it's pricey , but normally priced for Alaska dining. Salsa is nice. Mild or Hot heat, but chips are always over cooked. View all feedback.
The rice and beans where reheated and had no flavor. I didn't enjoy any of it. Step up ur game Acapulco use fresh ingredients and cook fresh to order daily.
We went there on Monday evening. The restaurant was quiet, but had a few people dining. The food was economical and delicious. The waitress was attentive but not overbearing. We usually are disappointed when we go out to eat on the Peninsula, because the food is way overpriced and certainly not as good as the price of the food would indicate, so we leave feeling cheated. But not at Acapulco in Kenai. Worth every penny and the tip!!
Favorite Mexican food place. Even though I've lived in Texas for years, this is better. I suppose I like more Americanized Mexican dishes, and I can't complain about this place. Chicken enchilada is awesome.
Great service and good food. My favorite is the seafood chimichanga. Only thing missing is the real margarita to go with it. They are great on letting you make reservations for larger parties. Definitely recommend trying them out
Delicious food! Highly recommend the place. As soon as I bite into my enchiladas, I knew I was a fan of the restaurant. Very good food, great atmosphere, and the view of the mountains don't hesitate if you are considering where to go for lunch or dinner!
