Sago Restaurant - Kelvin Grove

We came here after a visit to the QUT Institute of Health and Biomedical Innovation. (The restaurant is just next door. We like the clean and quiet environment, which enable us to chit-chat comfortably. The food is tasty and the serving is huge. Overall this place is value for money.

Really reasonable and loved the food. Great for a larger table as everybody bill was under $20. BYO wine. Could do with more ice. I had spring rolls with salad. Sweet chilli sauce. Very nice. Great to have a bite to eat prior to the show at la Boitte

Casual and friendly with very good food at reasonable prices. We ate there before moving on to LaBoite theatre for a show. It seemed they were a bit short staffed. Overall we were very satisfied.

Been here a few times, food is consistently excellent and staff are lovely. Sizzling spicy chicken is excellent also their vegetarian spring rolls are good. Will be back

This restaurant faces some fierce competition from Danny Boys, but wow the taste, tenderness and array of flavours did not disappoint. The service is not what you get in a city restaurant but then again nor is the price and did I mention how good the food was. Give it a try for a dine in meal or take away. You won’t be disappointed.
