My first experience was a few days ago and I got the fish cakes.. and they were disgusting! They were rubber and most certainly not hand made. I could bend them and wouldn’t break. It says you get 5.. only got 4. thank god for that That is the first thing I have tried from this place and I was instantly turned off. Will never go there again for anything. Very nice, had the green curry, chilli jam chicken and fried rice. Would 100% have this again.

We've been to Welcome Thai about a dozen times. Each time the food has been spectacular. I always have the Tom Yum with seafood with extra chilli. The flavours are spot on. It's my bowl of happiness. My husband usually has the green curry. He's a tough critic but really enjoys it also. The servings are massive!! I recommend you give them a try.
Not a lot of good thai in Townsville, tried the pork belly chicken skewers, 10/10 best thai I've had in town for ages
