Sunny's A Modern Diner - Kelowna

Most of the menu can be made gluten-free at this restaurant, and they take great care to prevent cross contamination. They use a separate toaster for gluten-free bread and cook the hashbrowns in a separate pan. I felt very safe eating here and the food was delicious!

The staff at this restaurant are incredibly accommodating! Despite not having a dedicated fryer, they go above and beyond to ensure a gluten-free cooking environment. I initially wanted the Big Dog Hash, but unfortunately, the brisket contained soy, so that was not an option. However, they kindly prepared a special 'Celiac Hash' just for me, which was not only tasty but completely customized to my dietary needs. Their aim is to provide a memorable breakfast experience for all customers, and they truly delivered on that promise.

Chef Robyn is truly amazing! This was my first time dining here, but I will definitely be returning. The staff was incredibly attentive and friendly, and the coffee was delicious. The menu was so tempting that I had a hard time deciding what to order, but I ultimately went with the classic eggs Benedict. Let me tell you, these were not your average eggs Benedict - they were absolutely incredible! The hash browns were cooked perfectly as well. My child ordered the breakfast poutine and was so engrossed in enjoying it that he was unusually quiet. He looked like he was in pure bliss with every bite. Our server Alec was exceptional, the rest of the staff was fantastic, and Chef Robyn, I can't wait to try more of your culinary creations!

"This is a great place for breakfast, with a cozy atmosphere. I tried the two signature dishes from the TV show. The combination of peanut butter toast, bacon, and eggs in the first dish was surprisingly delicious and a must-try. The chicken and waffles were a bit greasy for my taste, but the homemade jam was amazing."

The eggs benedict were amazing, but the hash browns were just okay. The service was friendly and the outdoor patio was lovely. Prices were a bit on the higher side compared to other places, but worth it for the atmosphere. The restaurant was clean and well-maintained. I would recommend and definitely come back. Overall rating for food: 4/5.
