Peepers - Kelleys Island

The best food on the island. I recommend the chicken drum ollipops and the Sirloin cabobs. You also have the best beans I've ever eaten. Sit on the veranda with a beer and people watching. The owners and the staff are great.

Always my favorite place to stop for a few shots! They weren't busy so got a seat up at the bar, got 2 strawberry shots and a drink and we were on our way to the next spot! Friendly staff.

I know that the tradition is to stop here for the strawberry shot when on KI, but this place is really over looked for their food. The burger is probably one of the best I’ve had made with a steak and brisket mix. The “lollipops” are smoked chicken legs and out of this world. Try the Cajun rub with their homemade bbq . You’ll thank me.

Rarely things live the expectations, but Peeper's whole damn barbecue did this and more. I visited 2020 and saw this on the menu, but there were 2 of us. For a whole year I thought about going back and we finally made it. Every part of the dinner was amazing. People were super friendly (and the dog) and the value was excellent. I had the Philly cheese Steak Brisket who was great. I had so much meat that the sandwich fell apart! But you have to order the right things. I ate with my mother and she has the burned ends... It was tender, but very salty and strange tasting. The drinks had a slightly cleaner taste, so it is best to stay with a slightly stronger tasting like the pink lemonade. Service was friendly, but could have been a tad faster as we were the only family in the restaurant then.
