Country Fried Chicken - KEITH

I must admit that for years I had driven straight past the Caltex and it 's delectable chicken with no interest. Then one day a friend mentioned that it was well worth stopping to try, and so I did. Definitely worth the effort. Fantastic chicken and chips! I am so enamoured of the Chicken chunk surprise despite the dubious name. The chips are sensational as well. I see a lot of people mention that the burgers are great. However I have not got that far, though hopefully soon I will. A very clean establishment as well.

My son and I were passing through Keith to a certain destination and needed a good feed for the rest of our journey. We ordered a chicken burger combo meal each with chips and a drink alongside. The meal was able to satisfy our guts.

Had a fillet burger from there today and I tell you what, was absolutely delicious. Once it was finished I so wanted more!! Best burger I've ever had I reckon!!

We drove the streets of Keith on a cold winters night and the local hotel, IGA, and lone takeaway that was open were all very uninspiring The diner that is in the Caltex servo on the Dukes highway specialises in fried chicken but also has an all day breakfast option, good soup and good coffee
