Lamm’s has been there for decades and since my last visit have been over 13 years. the decoration has changed from traditional to modern and the place was busy at our visit on Saturday night. we arrived in the city and our hotel couldn't accommodate us in their restaurant and landed at lamb. here we were kindly greeted and the personal tried to squeeze us to a table and when a larger table became free, they moved us... What Vanessa Bachmann doesn't like about Zum Lamm:
You can't rely on the telephone price statement of the rooms. Very undamaged if there are no exact prices on the website. On-site check-in was required for 20€ more than by phone. If I had known before, we would have gone to another hotel. Room in itself was ok but due to the location very loud with open window. First and last night at Hotel Lamm. Too bad. View all feedback.
This time was the change of ownership positiw. the restaurant is not yet as packed in the old days. but at least now the service is efficient and more professional than a year ago. the menu has many. the classic dishes from the front, and there are a few new ones. we were all satisfied with our decisions. it seems to be some minor changes in the facility, but it is still cozy and welcoming.
Beautiful restaurant with a great service. we sit outside, there are really nice gardens. the personal was fast and attentive. they were little busy, but we had really nice time.
Ever since the ownership changed a couple of years ago, this restaurant has been on a steep decline. Most of the menu has remained the same. The dishes are not quite the same as before (preparation, presentation.. but they are ok. But, the service is...terrible! There is enough wait staff, but they are so disorganized and inefficient. Everyone at my table was served their starters, but something happened to mine. I didn't get mine until everyone had already finished theirs. The table next to us waited for nearly minutes before they were even asked for their drink order. After another minutes, they finally just left. It's a shame because the outside terrace has a very nice and cozy atmosphere. The grape vines growing over the terrace offer shade. In the winter, there is a room with a lit fire. It's also a shame because the owner seems nice and enthusiastic.
The service was very good, they were very attentive, the food seemed quite expensive at first but it came with a free soup course and a free salad course so it worked out quite good value for money though. We both ate pasta and it...was very nice. It had a good young vibe.
Lamm's has been around for decades and it had been over years since my last visit. The décor has changed from traditional to modern and the place was busy on our Saturday night visit. We arrived in town and our hotel could not accommodate...us in their restaurant and we ended up at Lamm's. Here we were greeted friendly and staff made every effort to squeeze us in to a table and when a larger table became available they quickly moved us to make us comfortable. We were just grateful to be accommodated. The menu is varied from dinner type salads, meats and pastas. The food and presentation were great. Our server was friendly and efficient and made us feel welcome after a long day of travelling.
