What Σταυρούλα Γρηγοριάδου doesn't like about Myrtillo:
Myrtillo is a very cute place to stop for breakfast or brunch. It offers lots of smoothies and juices. The yogurt is very good, maybe the best I ate so far. The staff is very nice and the place is quite. However, I found it unjustifiably expensive. They also sell homemade jams and local honey that seem to be very good. View all feedback.
Lovely venue en route between Argostoli and Assos. Don’t be fooled by the plain front, round the back is a pretty enclosed garden/courtyard which I could have happily sat in all day. I had a mushroom sandwich, which was a tasty pitta bread style sandwich stuffed with mushrooms, courgette, carrots, hummus and other veggie bits. Not sure what the other flavours were, but it was delicious. We both had a craft beer that was served in a pre-frozen glass, perfect and refreshing on a hot day. Most of the food on the menu was not vegan, however staff were happy to adapt any items and all the food was fresh, homemade and staff clearly knew how to use flavours and ingredients to make delicious food.
With not a lot of options available on the island, this one is a great find and recommended to every vegan. They can make certain dishes vegan by removing replacing the ingredients with a plant based option.
This is a small corner location with a great feeling to it . You could sit here for hours listing to the cool retro tunes , tapping your feet . There’s not loads of vegan options but they are so simple and amazing tasting “real food” . It’s a must go to
