Was Ember Flores at Runza a mag?
I was the only customer in the restaurant, but the staff were very friendly and patient. Since I had never tried a runza before, I can’t compare it to anything else, but it was a pleasant experience overall, especially as I’m new to Nebraska! View all feedback.

What Timothy Rabenau dislikes about Runza:
On the few occasions I've gone to this location my runzas were dependably undercooked, and the last trip my fries were so undercooked that they were still white and completely soggy with no crispness whatsoever. It took 10 minutes in the air fryer to finish them. The wonderful and friendly service is the only thing keeping it from 1 star. Don't understand why I don't run into this at the south location. Every SINGLE time I come here they forget my French fries. Every time. I'm sitting here at home now with a salad and no fries. How hard is it to put fries in a bag? It is two items. Two. One plus one. How do you forget a whole HALF of an order? Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me ten times? I will literally never eat here again.

This is a Runza. You either get it or you don't. If you don't, then stop in and see what it is folks are talking about.

I typically encounter good service when patronizing Runza restaurants, but my last visit to this location, on the evening of May 28th, was an exception to the rule. The employee stationed at the drive thru window, a young man no more than 17 or 18 in age, had a markedly sullen and discourteous disposition throughout my interaction with him, brusquely telling me the total of the bill and then coldly handing me my order without uttering a single other word or expression. The young employee's total lack of interest in both his job and the basic service industry standard that all customers should be shown common courtesy was plainly evident. Yes, stories of surly employees are (unfortunately) far from uncommon these days, but I expected wrongly, as it turns out that a fine Nebraska fast food establishment like Runza wouldn't succumb to the trend of poor frontline service that has befallen its regional and national competitors. I can only hope the poor experience I had is an anomaly and not a pattern for Runza!
