The cost performance is amazing. Even though the egg is only 50 yen, the fried egg costs 250 yen. How does that even make sense? Set meals are around 700 yen, and this time I had the "One-Coin Meat Set Meal" for 500 yen, which was a pork cutlet stew set meal. The rice was soft, which personally I didn't enjoy, but everything else was fine.

I visited the restaurant in March and June of 2021, and again in April of 2022. The menu is extensive and reasonably priced. The chef's special set meal includes 11 dishes, including fried rice, yakisoba, and stir-fried vegetables, all of which were delicious. I returned in April 2022 and the chef's special set meal was only 800 yen, with a good balance of flavors and ample portions. It is a great value for the price.

The melt-in-your-mouth tenderness and juicy texture of the chashu really stood out in my mouth, and I was deeply impressed by its amazing quality. I think this is the best place in Kakunodateshi or the surrounding area for delicious chashu. This time, I ordered the miso tonkotsu ramen. Since the words "popular at our store" were displayed on the wall in front of me, I decided to obediently follow that advertisement. The miso tonkotsu ramen served in front of me had a classic appearance. I started by tasting the soup, which had just the right amount of saltiness and left me feeling satisfied. The noodles were cooked perfectly in the broth as well. At this point, I would have just rated it as a decent ramen, but as mentioned at the beginning, the quality of the chashu was really exceptional. If I had known how delicious the chashu was, I would have ordered the chashu noodles instead of the tonkotsu. Next time, I will definitely order the chashu noodles without any doubt!
