When I tried to ent... read more Was really looking forward to checking out the best of Kazan’s alternative nightlife, but was in the end left with a very bitter experience. When I tried to enter, the person at the door nodded and said “No”, when I calmly asked why, I was once again given a no and a literal shove away from the door. I’ve never ever experienced such a rude and arrogant reception at the door in my life. I’ve visited numerous underground establishments in places such as Amsterdam, Berlin and Moscow, so I’m very aware of how the game works and know that rejection at times is part of it. HOWEVER, I don’t think it is fair to shove me away, when I was ready to leave anyway. Tl:dr Ego tripping doorman ruined what was meant to be a relatively quiet night out.
