I ordered tiramisu, it was awful, dry like plastic, i told the waiter(was kind) he informed the manager, but when the check came it was counted, to get refund i... read more I ordered tiramisu, it was awful, dry like plastic, i told the waiter(was kind) he informed the manager, but when the check came it was counted, to get refund i had to talk to the manager who was angry on me (it's not my fault that the food was not good) I was in many other Mado branches but this experience changed my mind. Tip for you, walk 200 meters there is another Mado much better with better food and better behave.

The best breakfast place.. kaymak is amazing .. menmen is good bread is great.. place is clean.. herb onlette is amazing .. this and MOC are the only two places... read more The best breakfast place.. kaymak is amazing .. menmen is good bread is great.. place is clean.. herb onlette is amazing .. this and MOC are the only two places that i will miss about Turkey.. one of the waiters and the waitress are so so hospitable and great and they understand english well .. they bring us milk along with our tea because they remmeber it is our usual which is great and they dont charge for the milk

The ice cream was their signature elastic never-break... read more There are many branches of Mado in Istiklal so I’m not sure we picked the best, but was the closest to us. The ice cream was their signature elastic never-break texture. The Burma was over-done and dry. We sat in the terrace roof, but view is blocked with plants. If you want Mado, better try other branches.

Racists work here, we wanted to buy gifts to take home (around 40 boxes since we were a group of 4) and naturally we wanted to sample some before we bought that many. Second time I asked to try a delight, the server poured a handful of delights on my hand and said “ here take everything”. Then said something like we just come in to eat these for free. We told the “supervisor” who was an old man in a different outfit about the incident and he completely ignored us. We left and bought our 50 boxes from another excellent delights shop one block away. Better service for foreigners, better prices, better tasting.
