As a Lithuanian living abroad, one of my biggest concerns about going vegan was losing my cultural heritage, as food and meat are such integral parts of Lithuanian cuisine. What Dangė Jakubas doesn't like about Arbatine:
I was a bit disappointed here, the portions are small and taste like something you'd get at a university cafeteria, while not being all that cheap for Lithuanian standards. That being said, it is a nice location to sit outside and the waitress was very nice. View all feedback.
Arbatine has a large selection of vegan dishes, including some (probably) typical Lithuanian recipes that are interesting for vegan traveling who want to taste local cuisine in kaunas. I and a friend tried a few dishes each and all were good, but some were a bit dirty. overall our experience was good, but nothing overwhelming or special. updated by previous review on 2022-02-23
Eating is very tasty, the personal is really friendly and it is very cheap. but the employees don't speak really well English and that gave me the menu in Lithuanian, but because everything is vegan, I chose something and it was delicious. updated by previous review on 2022-02-23
If they taste vegan traditional litau cuisine, this is the best place!
Very sweet and cozy vegan place with great menu and delicious food.
Ordered pancakes with spinach and tofu which were super nice! The apple pie was delicious and not too sweet. The lady was lovely. Highly recommend! Updated from previous review on 2021-09-09
