Homestead Shave Ice - Kaunakakai

These things a HUGE! The lady that runs the place is super nice. It's just a little stand on the side of the road in their front yard. Stop and get some! $3 for small. Yum!!! I recommend coconut, passionfruit and guava!

Homestead Shave Ice, located in Kaunakakai Mauna Loa Hwy. Love this place! The owner is super friendly and welcomes always with a big smile and Aloha. What I have is my favorite, Piña Colada and Pineapple with Condensed Milk sprinkled with Lihing Mui. So delicious! My all time favorite! There are a variety of other flavors and tasted each and every one of their shave ice menus. You folks definitely need to try. Their small size is actually big and costs $3. Big size costs $5. Super reasonable and affordable. Location, has shade tents and seats to relax. Parking is spacious as well. Scenery of Mauka and Makai is spectacular! I come here regularly.
