Russo's New York Pizzeria Italian Kitchen Katy Reserve

The pizzas and the variety of options are fantastic. I rated it 4 stars instead of 5 due to the service timing, which was a bit disappointing. However, once you take that first bite of the pizza, all frustrations seem to fade away.

I'm not sure if the person we encountered was the manager or the owner, but we were the only ones in the bar enjoying a nice bottle of wine. We visit primarily for the wine and the outstanding bartenders, Becca and McKenzie, who are truly exceptional. However, the manager then told us to be quiet because he was on the phone. Really? You're going to tell paying customers to stop talking because you’re on a call? I was taken aback. I sincerely hope those bartenders find better opportunities soon because I won’t be returning after this experience. As a business owner myself, I found it astounding. The only reason I didn’t speak up was out of respect for the bartenders, who asked me not to say anything because they feared getting in trouble. I recommend staying away from this place.

As newcomers to the area, we were on the lookout for New York-style pizza, but unfortunately, this place didn't deliver. The crust was too thick to be considered authentic NY style. Overall, the pizza was just average—overly garlicky and lacking in sauce. My quest for great pizza continues!

This pizza place is AMAZING! The crust was the best. My new favorite when I visit Texas. If I could give it 10 stars I would. Everyone must stop here. You won’t be disappointed.

The flavor was bland and oily I’ve actually tasted better from Olives for a fraction of the cost. But let me be clear I’m not rating the restaurant just this particular dish I am very disappointed with and will not order it again or recommend anyoneelse order this dish. You’re much better off going to an Olives
