The jollof rice was also very tasty. We will definitely be returning for more dishes. The customer service was excellent. The young man who served us was very friendly and we appreciated his assistance with the menu.

The egusi was incredibly delicious, especially with the fish I chose as my protein. The customer service was also excellent. I will definitely be returning soon, as I believe I have found my new favorite spot!

It has been a fantastic experience every time I have dined there. I have been a loyal customer since 2018, even before they had a physical location. I highly recommend trying their African and Caribbean dishes, as well as their excellent service. This restaurant prioritizes customer service and puts God first in everything they do. Give Royal Poor Restaurant a try and you won't be disappointed. Thank you!

I?m most definitely going to try the fish pepper soup next time. I also ordered thegoat stew with pounded yam most definitely my favorite so far it was rich flavorful I couldn?t stop eating it the yam wasn?ttoo soft it was perfect! I?ll most definitely be back with the family.

Food was cooked fresh and is hands down the most tasty African food I have had compared to all the ones in the katy/Houston area. The atmosphere in the restraunt is wonderful and the service is amazing. They have a lovely family and theyreally make you feel welcomed. Will definitely be coming back.
