Pho 88 - Katy
Pho 88
Description
Pho 88 is a family-owned Houston gem where authentic Vietnamese flavors—standout pho, addictive bánh mì, crispy egg rolls and fresh Thai milk tea—meet warm, personal service. The intimate, hole-in-the-wall dining room feels homey and welcoming, staffed by friendly, attentive people whose personalities add charm. Prices are reasonable, portions generous, and vegetarian options available. While the kitchen reliably delivers fresh, flavorful dishes, the dining area could benefit from deeper cleaning and light renovations. A must-try for families and casual diners seeking comforting, satisfying Vietnamese fare.

Everything was outstanding. This is a charming family-owned restaurant, and the warmth of the family makes it a place worth returning to. The food, however, was absolutely amazing—everything was fresh and flavorful. I will definitely be coming back!
I've been dining at this restaurant for a while now, and it has become my family's favorite spot. It's family-owned, and the customer service is the best I've ever experienced. The glaze on the beef and pork is unlike anything else I've found. The Thai milk tea is fresh and delicious, and everything feels so fresh and mouthwatering! I can't enjoy Vietnamese food anywhere else because they have set such a high standard for me. It's truly addictive! Don’t miss out on their sandwiches—they're a hidden gem in the Houston area. So addictive!
Although the interior isn't particularly glamorous, it provides a warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff is consistently friendly, from the kind older woman to the young adults working there. The older lady's humorous personality truly sets her apart. The food is flavorful and delicious, with each bite packed with taste, especially the bánh mì and pho. There are also vegetarian options available, and everything is reasonably priced.
If I can give zero stars this would be the resturant . Ordered vermicelli beef egg rolls . The beef was so dry that I wouldn't even feed my dog . Told manager and waited 15 min . Second batch was the same . I wonder why there was no customer lol . I wonder how they stay in business with such a poor quality of food service . I would not recommend this restaurants to friends family for sure . It's a run down restaurant that has the worst food ever . What a disappointment experience .
