**Restaurant Review: A Mixed Bag of Experiences**
At this recently relocated Italian restaurant, diners have reported a range of experiences. While some praised the vibrant atmosphere and live music, others expressed disappointment with the food quality and service. Appetizers like mussels and antipasto did not meet expectations, while homemade pasta was a standout for many. Service varied; some experienced friendly staff and attentive recommendations, while others noted slower service during busy periods. Signature dishes, such as Ravioli Lucia and fettuccine alla Ruota, garnered rave reviews, though some felt the price point did not justify the overall experience. A worthwhile visit, but perhaps with adjusted expectations.

It was alright. None of us were particularly impressed with the food, and the quality didn't justify the price. The portions were a bit small, I found bits of seafood shell in my risotto, and the antipasto platter was underwhelming for $35. I likely won't return, as Da’Vinci's provides much better quality and flavors for the same cost. However, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere and decor were quite trendy.
Unfortunately, the hostess's attitude created a bad impression even before we were seated. She seemed quite displeased that we brought birthday gifts and balloons for our friends, and she seated us without saying a word. I have to say, the food was only mediocre. The Italian sausage in my pasta tasted like it was pulled straight from a meat lover's pizza from Pizza Hut. Given the overall experience and the price, I won't be coming back to this restaurant.
We sampled the Melanzane alla Parmigiana, akin to eggplant parmesan, and the Alla Ruota, which featured fettuccine served from a parmesan wheel. The pasta was absolutely amazing—so delicious it was almost a life-changing experience! The tableside presentation added an extra special touch. The eggplant was perfectly crispy, complemented by just the right amount of sauce and cheese. I opted for my favorite drink, an espresso martini, which was delightful—slightly sweet yet very flavorful. While I can't recall the names of his drinks, my husband enjoyed a cocktail similar to a Manhattan and another resembling an Old Fashioned, both of which he loved. I would have rated this place five stars, but the service, though friendly, was slower than I hoped. I understand that larger groups can lead to delays, and having worked in the industry myself, I'm familiar with the dynamics. However, I did wait too long for my drinks, especially since others who ordered after me received theirs first. It also took quite a bit of time for our server to return when it was time to settle the bill. Despite these service hiccups, I will definitely be returning—probably with a smaller group and perhaps sitting at the bar next time!
This restaurant truly captures the essence of Italy—I mean it! The dishes are fresh, homemade, and crafted with care, bursting with flavor. The atmosphere is wonderful, and you'll want to take some of the decor home with you. The staff is helpful, knowledgeable, and very friendly. So far, my favorite dishes have been the Bolognese lasagna and the pasta alla ruota with shrimp. Make sure to finish your meal with their homemade cheesecake (you've never had anything like it) and the chocolate mousse (a dream for chocolate lovers), paired with a cappuccino. Seriously, it’s amazing!
Don’t get excited by the hyped reviews from some folks. I don’t understand the reason for this hype or the restaurant was once good. But our exp was below normal at hyped prices. Most of the menu items weren’t available n the waitress was new ncouldn’t understand English!! The only gratification was their bruschetta as appetizer which was good but again nothingextraordinary. My salad didn’t even the rt amt of dressing n requested extra dressing came in too late
