Nice place to have coffee, pastries or lunch. Here at 5:00 on Friday, not too busy. Friendly service. I have the Crème brûlée and the Croissant plain, both were fresh and perfect to the palate. It's nice that they have utensils all wrapped for CoVid. The bar has various aromas of berries jams. Beautiful and quiet environment. Appropriate price. Yes will come back. View all feedback.
What Max Texan doesn't like about La Madeleine Country French Cafe:
Used to be a nice place. However, the last 2 times we stopped here to drink some coffee, they gave us chocolate cakes which were far from the nice cakes on their display (see the photo). Do they play soccer with them before serving? Not enjoyable to eat forthe price we paid for it. We will try some other place next time. View all feedback.
This hidden gem is simply fantastic, especially the pastries. My personal favorites are the fruit tart and chocolate croissants. The breakfast options are excellent as well. If you're searching for a wonderful spot for breakfast, brunch, or lunch, make sure to dine in. Avoid the takeout side; I waited in front of two employees for about five minutes without them acknowledging me. When they finally did, they were rude and rushed me with my order. So if you want to enjoy your meal there, THIS is the place for you!
This used to be a lovely spot, but our last two visits for coffee have been disappointing. Both times, we received chocolate cakes that were nothing like the beautiful desserts showcased in their display (as seen in the photo). It felt as if they had been kicked around before being served. The taste certainly didn’t justify the price. We’ll be looking for a different place next time.
Unfortunately, the fruit tart, which looked delicious, turned out to be one of the worst I've ever tasted. It’s definitely not what it used to be. We bought two for my brother-in-law’s birthday yesterday and were extremely disappointed. The crust was rock hard, and the custard had an unpleasant smell and tasted artificial, leaving a horrible aftertaste. We couldn’t even finish the second one; everyone ended up throwing theirs away. I regret spending my money on these.
5/5 Pesto Pasta It has the perfect amount of creaminess! I really like their pesto cream sauce. The mini baguette was good. I would definitely come back for this!

The service was friendly, and I ordered the Crème brûlée and a plain Croissant—both were fresh and delightful. I appreciated that the utensils were individually wrapped for COVID safety. The bar area had a variety of berry jam aromas, creating a pleasant atmosphere. The environment is beautiful and tranquil, and the prices are reasonable. I will definitely return!
