The Triple Delight and the Eggplant with H... read more Some of the best Chinese food in Katy. I really feel like this is a more authentic offering versus other restaurants. The Triple Delight and the Eggplant with Hot Garlic Sauce are two of my favorites. The Hot Oil Wontons and Dried Bean Curd in Chili Oil are both great appetizers and do bring the spicy. Don 't worry though, despite being a chili Oil, the heat doesn 't burn and makes the food full of flavor and highly addicting. They are closed on Tuesdays.

A... read more From the decor to the service to the food this restaurant deserves five stars all the way. We ordered the dumplings, general taos chicken, and orange chicken. All of the selections we made were amazing. The dumplings were complete perfection. The seasoning used in the dumpling stuffing was magically delicious. The best part is that they were perfectly steamed.

Immediately upon realizing that, it can be assumed that the food is not great. We ordered a beef side dish, beef potstickers,and asparagus. Everything was not good but not bad. If you’re in desperate need of Chinese cuisine, this may be an option butdefinitely not the best one.

I wish that the noodles were a bit longer because they were hard to scoop up with my chopsticks.

They have soups typical of any Asian restaurant, though I didn’t try any. The menu features beef, chicken, fish, shrimp, and pork, as well as vegetable dishes. I really enjoyed the beef and scallion dish served with steamed rice. The flavors were quite good, and the portion size was more than sufficient. The rice was a bit more than what you usually get at other places, which I appreciated since I enjoy steamed rice. The owner, who also served us, was very polite and attentive. The tea served was hot jasmine, though I would have loved to have oolong instead. I also want to mention that the decor pleasantly surprised me. The furnishings have a Chinese aesthetic and look quite elegant, showcasing good taste in creating an inviting atmosphere. Overall, I highly recommend it!
