We ordered Shrimp with egg and cilantro, Mala Squid and basil eggplants at LaiLai and it's very tasty. They don't use MSG so you won't come home thirsty which we appreciate. The chef uses spices to give that flavorful taste. The service is always attentive. The price is affordable for the high quality food. Let's support this local chinese restaurant. View all feedback.
What Tina M doesn't like about Lai Lai:
The egg drop and sour and spicy soup were fantastic! However, the main dish, pepper beef from the lunch menu, was not as impressive. The meat was stringy and didn’t meet expectations. View all feedback.
This is the place to get authentic Chinese cuisine in Tuscaloosa area. Really enjoyed Mala xiang guo.
Coming from up north, this is by far the best Chinese food we have found to date in Alabama! Had the General’s chicken (crispy and delicious) and vegetable lo mein with shrimp (took 1/2 home). Oh and be sure to get their dumplings! Will definitely be going back!
Lai Lai is a great Asian restaurant that I completely recommend checking it out.
The fried rice was was very nasty. I hate what they called fried rice now. All that it was was literally white rice with a tiny bit of soy sauce salt and pepper and egg. They didn’t put no onion or veggie in it. I also got orange chicken. It was a bit soggy: I had to put it in the air fryer when I got home just to eat it.l but they used real oranges and I did enjoy the flavor. Lol I won’t eat here again though all because of the “fried white rice”.
It's the worst restaurant in all of yours... it has the worst delivery time, and the worst food.. racism highlights them...
