Contribute Feedback What Bonnie Morris House likes about Kobe Japanese Steakhouse Sushi:
Loved everything about our lunch here. The food was great, and the support staff was very tidy with the plates, but the chef was where it all came together. I wish I had gotten his name. He talked, he joked, he flipped the food, etc. I know they are all supposed to do that, but there's a difference in someone just doing their job and someone enjoying their job. This guy made lunch fun. View all feedback.
What I C Woodson Tabor doesn't like about Kobe Japanese Steakhouse Sushi:
It was early in the sinner service about 5pm. I asked to be seated in a quiet booth and if it was the hottest that was fine, too. The hostess understood and relayed it to my waiter (male). All started well.I was undecided about if I wanted something more than hot tea, he was patient, and brought me a cocktail menu. I ordered Sushi deluxe (9 pieces, rainbow roll, and soup and salad are included. I had a Johnny Walker... View all feedback.
Had an amazing 4 generation lunch date. Food was amazing and so was the service.

Kobe is my FAVORITE JAPANESE restaurant in Tuscaloosa!! Simply because at Kobe you get the meat, NOODLES, rice, and veggies (I sub my veggies for extra noodles)!! At other Japanese restaurants I have noticed in town you only get the meat, rice, and veggies, but no noodles ..and they are my favorite. The Hibachi Grill cooks seem to be more experienced and engaged with the audience and the hostess is always super sweet!! Lately, we have been doing more Takeout than Djne-In, and Liz is the BEST! SHE always remembers our order and always adds a special little note or touch to it!! We really love their personalized service and the food is delicious...always plenty for at least 2 ..if not 3 meals!
First time visiting here. Food was pretty good. I love Hibachi! Service was average. I ordered Scallops and Salmom. The thing that stuck out the most is that noodles are served with rice, vegetables, and the meat. The other Hibachi restaurants I've visited had only rice and veggies. It is also a nice touch to have the hostess wear a kimono.
Beautiful restaurant and the service was great but the food was mediocre at best. The soup was nothing but chicken broth (NO seasoning) and the salad had tuna in it (never never never seen that) and hibachi itself was bland.
