A great restaurant close to the main square and the station. The food is really tasty I went for a vegetarian surprise (chefs choice) and it was good. I would try vegan next time. You can choose soup or dry, and spicy or not too. Staff were very efficient and friendly, and the menu was also in English. Beer was ok, I had Tiger but there were others. Nice atmosphere inside too and pretty busy for a Tuesday evening. View all feedback.
What Christian B doesn't like about Little Hanoi And More!:
I had the “vegetarian surprise”. I usually love Vietnamese kitchen and eat it very often. I think I’ve never had something with a less fantasy and less authentic. Far too expensive for what they offer. Very disappointing. View all feedback.
I walked in as a fan of authentic Vietnamese, encouraged by the raving reviews. The place is pricier than the average, but that 's fine — the experience was supposed to make up for it. Wanted to order Pho with shrimp, but they didn 't have shrimp left. So I went with the let the chef surprise you vegetarian . I was presented with... a slightly fancier omelette. Some veggies in the omelette, some outside, a nice oyster ? sauce and a small bowl of rice. That was 59 PLN. 13 USD at the time of writing this. Considering there are many other meat/seafood/fish options in the menu for less or around same price than that, I feel that my naivety and trust in chef 's skill was taken advantage of. I mean, that bowl of Pho was to cost 51 PLN! Instant, severe case of buyer 's remorse. Compared to the à la carte dishes, it just did not make any sense at all! Probably the costliest omelette I had, ever, including London or NYC. The restaurant itself is nice, but again, nothing out of ordinary, and definitely not higher standard than other Vietnamese I have been to and not been robbed. I really wanted to love it, but that pricing is just ridiculous — not ridiculously high, just ridiculous.

I could have given more stars, but the way they made me feel here was pathetic. We booked a table for my b 'day well in advanced, when we reach there the staff told us rudely that KIDS are Not allowed post 6 pm.... seriously??? They made me feel that they are doing a favor on us by allowing us to sit in. They gave us a table in the corner ,where mosquitos were there and we were not allowed to change the table so that my kid could hid, as if it 's a shame to be there with a kid. We booked for 9pm by the time it was 9:15, we left with no choice but to sit there as we didn 't want to ruin my b 'day more. Now comes to the food part. For vegetarians very limited options. Infact only one option- tofu..tofu starter, tofu soup and tofu main dish. Tofu springroll: not good, I would not recommend it, except the sauce provided with it was nice. Tofu soup: the size of the soup was huge to fill ones meal. The taste was upto the mark. But drawback was it 's over pricey. Main dish : there is nothing I can say bad about it except it 's was pricey too. Dish was full of flavors, very nice. Few tips for the owner: 1. Train your staff to ask if kids are there before making reservations,n to mention that 's you are not kids friendly. 2. If your staff forget to ask while making reservations about kids, make a post on the door 'KIDS ARE NOT ALLOWED ' Or you can mention on your website. You may avoid to shame a parent for having kids. Parents: beware of little Hanoi, they are not kids friendly and may ruin your day by shaming you for producing kids. I will never go to this restaurant again ever in my life who doesn 't respect kids.
Yes, want fresh and great Asian food by VN? Here I highly recommend ; missing the rice and I ate here yummyly.
I had the duck in Little Hanoi style. The staffs are friendly, and the place is very cozy with the touch of Vietnamese decoration. It’s very hard to find an authentic Vietnamese restaurant in the areas like Little Hanoi Katowice. Highly recommended !
